Ebony Young

Bachelor of Nursing 2007, Masters in Midwifery 2008. It all started with pregnant bellies. I was, and still am, amazed at the human body, and the way we can create and carry life, it blows me away.

After graduating as a nurse at the age of 21, in 2007, I was accepted into a Masters In Midwifery program, and straight away I fell I love with it, graduating in 2008. I am currently working at a wonderful hospital, still loving what I do and working with some amazing midwives and now friends. My other passions in life are my own kids and family, friends, hockey and the beach.

Zoe Ryan

Bachelor of Nursing 2002, Masters in Midwifery 2004. I have been a Registered Midwife for 10 years this year, working predominantly in the exciting and inspiring birthing suites of the Tweed Heads Hospital since 2004, with a stint for 18 months in the UK in 2005/06.

Midwifery is my calling. I love attending births and helping women find their own inner strength. I believe that midwives help every woman birth her own baby, by having the confidence and reassurance they need from the midwife caring for the mother and her family. Little bit more about me. My favourite drink is “Tea” (typical call the midwife style, with the pot and all) and my haven is the beach!

Alinta Munro (Sutton)

Bachelor Nursing 2007, Masters in Midwifery 2009. I completed my Registered Nursing degree in 2007 and worked as a registered nurse in 2008, however, I knew I needed to get into midwifery. I completed my Masters in Midwifery in 2009 and have been working mainly in the birth suite at Tweed Hospital on the NSW/QLD boarder ever since.

I feel so blessed to be doing what I love and I’m so happy I can now share my knowledge and passion with the families all over Australia through BornOnline.
